OWEN DEBNEY - SENIOR PASTOR

Our founding family, Owen and Marian began what was then called Moreton Central Community Church on 15th February 2009 and have eagerly and faithfully served to build and grow our church to this day.

Being parents of four all-grown-up kids, our pastors and their family have been involved in church life for many years, serving in a broad range of ministries and gladly bring that education and experience to serve our church.

It was their passion to help people find their God-given identity and purpose by leading them to experience God’s heart for their lives by facilitating their gifts and talents in the life of the church and community. We are blessed as a church to call them our Pastors.

Owen holds multiple qualifications, ranging from a Bachelor of Ministry, Masters in Counselling a Diploma in Youth Work and a Diploma in Drug, Alcohol and Mental Health.

Owen has spent many years working closely with youth, young adults and families. Revealing achievable strategies, counselling and mentoring are just some of the key attributes Pastor Owen brings to the table in his day-to-day role. It's Owen's aim to not only host a thriving church but to help each an every individual member have a personal relationship with God that leads them into breakthroughs and the fullness of health in every aspect of their lives.

Owen's passion and desire to serve people of all ages contributed to the commencement of the church back in early 2009. He and his wife Marian began in the Narangba Community Hall with a small group of devoted people, and since that time has expanded into a multipurpose facility, well suited for a large capacity of people, equipped with a great stage, kitchen, amenities and outdoor facilities, this new venue is perfect for the Church's vision for an open door to the heart of God for the community of Narangba and it's surrounds.

Pastor Marian is now with the Lord and Pastor Owen continues to honour and serve the Lord, with his wife Jillian and teach others to obtain a closer relationship with God, His passion and desire to trust and serve the Lord, unconditionally, is an inspiration and testimony to all of God’s great love.
