The Bible

We believe that the Bible is God's Word and has authority to command our beliefs, values and actions. The Bible reveals who God is, and who we were created to be. The Bible shares God's vision and instructions for how we are to live our lives and have relationship with Him and each other.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." - 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV

Church

We believe that we are a body, the family of God. Church is where we meet and gather to grow and worship. Church is a place of weekly encouragement and where people of all ages, walks of life, experiences and levels of faith can meet together to discover God's heart for their lives and encounter His goodness.

"Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it."

Salvation

We believe that we come into a right relationship with God, are forgiven and are saved by His grace through faith and belief in Christ Jesus. We believe that everyone has access to salvation through faith, by believing in their heart that Christ died for their sins and was raised from the dead, and by confessing that Jesus is Lord. We believe that the evidence of someone being saved and turning to Christ, is that they now align their lives to live as Jesus did.

"If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved."

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."

Sin

We believe that all have sinned, missed the mark and tripped up in some way during their lifetimes and that we all require forgiveness. We believe that forgiveness is received by accepting Jesus, turning away from of our sins and confessing them to God and asking him to forgive us and set us free.

"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." - Romans 3:23 NIV
 

Forgiveness

We believe that God forgives and sets us free from the consequences of our sin and mistakes. He restores us into a right relationship with Him through the sacrifice that Jesus made by dying on the cross for us.

"This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us." - 1 John 1:5-10 NIV

Healing

We believe that God is able to heal all that we are. We believe that God, through the power of His Word and Holy Spirit, is able to heal physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Re-aligning us into the fullness of health and well being in every aspect of our lives.
We believe that as Christians, through faith in Christ Jesus, that we have the ability to pray for others, as Jesus did, by the authority of Jesus name and by His Holy Spirit to see people healed in this day and age.

"As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy,drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give." - Matthew 10;7-8

Water Baptism

We believe that water baptism is a vital step in our relationship with God that goes hand in hand with salvation. We believe that water baptism is a declaration of faith, an outward symbol and act of the inward change that has taken place when we asked Christ into our lives.

"Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." - Mark 16:16 NIV

Communion

We believe that communion is an important part of a Christians life, and that we should take communion in obedience to Christ's command and in rememberance of Him. As a church, we take communion weekly in our morning services and monthly in our evening services.

"The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes."
